Norcross, GA – December 19, 2018 – Mighty Distributing System is proud to announce that their largest franchise, PartsCo, has acquired an additional Mighty business in Las Vegas. PartsCo is a division of Lube Management, a 63-store Jiffy Lube operator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This makes the third Mighty Auto Parts franchise owned and operated in conjunction with the quick lube chain.
PartsCo and Lube Management principals, Kirk Umphrey and Ted Neilson, first licensed the Salt Lake City market in 2008 to distribute Mighty’s preventive maintenance products to their Jiffy Lube locations as well as other automotive service businesses. The franchise grew quickly and hasled the Mighty System in sales for the last seven years. This success drove them to acquire the Boise, Idaho market in 2016.
Entering the Las Vegas market, doing business as Mighty of Nevada, they have partnered with the principals of another prominent Jiffy Lube group, 29-store SRE Corporation based in St. George, Utah. As long-time Mighty customers, SRE’s Matthew Johnson, Kelly Kent, and Kelly Thompson will now contribute to building the business in Nevada and Southern Utah.
